i'm a cancer but i dont think i over-react on a thing..... i dont have overflowing emotions.....but i'm emotional though

You won't think that you're over reacting. Cancers can be very single minded when it comes to anything that threatens stability, family or home and defense of that, while you wouldn't consider it an over reaction others would. It's a matter of perception and Cancerians will defend what they hold in high value until that threat is gone ... totally. Anything that even hints at bringing those emotions into play has be removed for a Cancerian to begin to relax their instinct to protect and preserve.

I'm a Cancer but no one has ever told me that I over react. I am extremely emotional though.

You may have a more "grounded" moon sign than other Cancers. The moon rules emotions.
I know that for me, I tend to overreact towards nearly everything, and when I do, I usually blow it out of proportion and go into lock-down panic mode. I have an Aries moon, so I get that Aries fire behind all of my emotions.
Most of the time Cancers do tend to overreact. It's in our nature to take everything personal and to heart, and then go from there. I have read on numerous websites that Cancers can even "dream up" insults, which will cause us to overreact even more.

My mother and sister are both cancers and they over-react all of the time. Its quite annoying.

Because they do about every little thing. The people that i know that are cancers i never ever joke with them because they take every little thing to heart. Thats i prefer to stay away from them.
