if i do purchase one...can i walk into a best buy and get one now? I'm asking if i can easily attain one from the stores....?
If not, should i purchase it on ebay? Should i purchase one on ebay now rather than like a week before christmas? Like, will prices rise during that time? if so, how much cause i dont want to pay a fortune.

Yes its technically available. There is almost no way you are going to walk into any store and be able to walk out with a PS3. On ebay the price can go up to 1000 or more. The demand is HUGE. Best to wait for a couple months. The prices wont rise anywhere else than Ebay, if you pre order one it wont come before christmas, and if you want to get one within a month or 2 you will have to spend a fortune.

avalaible, and BLUE RAY DVD PLAYER.. (Check out BLUE
RAY DVD PLAYER's price.. it's around 1000 dollar.. now to
have a game console with the ability to store data, music like
desktop and can browse internet, plus the ability to play Blue
Ray should cost you about 2000 dollars but instead you can
get it for 599.99)

look, Sony sucks... they're being greedy, I like playstation 2 and I bet PS3 will be even better, but it's a fortune because sony's being greedy, okay, unless you plan to pay about $700 right now, you should wait 2-4 years the prices will go down, everyone will have one, they will upgrade it, and then there'll be like 20 in one store, that NO ONE will buy because they have one, but if it's a christmas present... you might have to pay the ridiculous $700 dollars... well I hope this helped..

look i have a 15 year old who wants one i refuse to pay that much for any video game. wait until after christmas then get it for less money
