Around 15 or 16 MPG should imagine. But then the young boy racers in their clapped out bangers get about the same. The lexus RX300 is a better car by far but will only return around 16MPG around town. The RX Hybrid is the alternative but is costly. However it is a myth to say that 4x4s are less economical than other cars beleive me.I can quote you examples forever on the subject.A 4x4 is a great machine and has many advantages over a saloon mainly the veiwing is far better.Should you fancy one then go out and buy and enjoy.

I have given up on the MPG for such a vehicle.
I find that removing the bonnet, taking a huge funnel, sticking it in the carburettor, and filling it every 2/3 miles does the trick.
Tyres - don't even go there.

Look here http://www.fueleconomy.gov/

its a new sit ethe government has come out wit, they give you more the jsut MPG, and its not jus the normal MPG ratings that the car amkes give it more actual MPG that you would actually see.

I used that site to see how it campared to what i actually got as far as gas millage, and it was pretty accurate.
