My fiance's mom asked me to clean the kitchen and living room,just sweep and mop she said but my fiance got sick and i was taking care of him,making him tea,making him soup,rubbing him down with vapor rub and i didn't have time to mop or sweep,plus i sleep in the day cause i just can't sleep at night,should i feel guilty? Cause i didn't do what she asked me to do?

Maybe she expects it of you because you are usually so helpfull. But good for you for making your man your number one priority! People are more important than housework. Thumbs up!

Well...it doesn't sound like she was asking you to do too much. I mean, sweeping and mopping doesn't take too long--couldn't you have done that in between everything else? Or...maybe get up a little bit earlier to get it done.
I think you should feel guilty.

Well, if you usually do what she asks but just not this time because your fiance is sick then NO I don't think you should feel guilty. It still sounds like youre doing a lot.

What, do you live with her? Does she pay your bills? Why are you obligated to clean her house? Does she clean yours?
I wouldn't worry about it......just do it tomorrow, if you feel the need to do it
