Yes. Ill be seeing the movie too. I am organizing a large group to go to garantee that the weekend box office is high. Mel Gibson is a good man, he donated money to the local tribe, and would like to spite the media by helping Mel.

You bring up a rather good point and not to sound evil and Jew hating which I am neither, but a Hollywood insider like Gibson insulting a Jew is suicide, on the other hand Polanski is a Jew and returned to Europe and has not been back to the US and if he did return he would be arrested for his sex crime. He sexually assaulted girls for Christ sake, he still makes movies, The Ninth Gate 1999, The Pianist 2002, Oliver Twist 2005, he even stared in a movie called Revenge 2002
All this to say I really think that Gibson had already pissed a lot of people off (and a lot of Hollywood Jews) and this last thing was just used to further discredit him and make him look evil and crazy. Which frankly is Gibson's own fault, seriously, if you get arrested, just keep the mouth shut.

Because Mel Gibson is a much, much bigger pop culture influence in our society, idiot. Some people don't even know who Polanski is in this country, but everybody knows Braveheart and Lethal Weapon. Therefore, he is a much bigger role model and his actions affect people more. Also, he is a bigot. And racism in this country is a huge deal because of obvious factors.

I often feel that people slip out with what they truely feel under the influence of alcohol when there control is gone. Not insulting Jews, but being a Christian.... especially in Hollywood. They think it's the worse crime you can commit. Go ahead.. cheat, steal, lie, have affair after affair, one illigitimate child after another... but don't you DARE be a Christian.
