yes it is. because you aren't paying for it. the studios who made the movie aren't getting paid for their hard work and effort for making the movie. generally if you see the word torrent, it is illegal.

yes because it is the same as downloading a song without paying for it. the MPAA has been taking action against individuals illegally downloading movies the same as the RIAA has been for music
