You don't go to college to learn neurosurgery. You go to college to get a good BA or BS degree that will enable you to go to medical school.

After med school, you go through a residency program, and then you're a MD or DO.

If you choose, you can go on to a neurosurgery program after that. With luck, you'll be done by age 40.

Soooo.... look for a college that gets people into med school due to the reputation of the school and the quality of the education.

Go to collegeboard.com you can put in your major and other qualities you like about a college (location, sports, size etc) and it will come up with a list of colleges for u.
