I was 21 years old and celebrated my birthday when I found out I was pregnant (I had 1 glass champagne, that was it). It was great. Now she has 2 boys (which makes me gramma) the first almost 2 years in Feb and the second will be 4 months. I am a very fortunate woman to have such a wonderful daughter who is a wonderful mother to two very happy and healthy baby boys. I am very proud. I thank God every day for the blessing of each of their lives and health and happiness. I don't know why you ask the question but I wish you all the best in your life and your decisions. Merry Christmas!

I had my 1st child the day before my 16th birthday. We were married very young (didn't have to get married if that's what you are thinking.......married Feb 20th 1993 and our daughter was born Jan 2nd 1994, you do the math). I was divorced before I turned 18. Met my current husband in March of 2000, had our 1st son Febuary 2002, and our last child August 2003. I have 2 step daughters who were born Febuary 1980 and Feburary 1982. We have 3 grandchildren born June 1998, December 2000, and May of 2002. And another g-child on the way sometime in June. (If you haven't figured it out yet, yes he's much older than me, like 21 years older).

24 with the first and 27 with the second. My girls are 3 years old and almost 11 months old. We're currently trying for #3 now because I'd like to have at least one more and do it before I turn 30. Hubby was 26 with the first and just shy of 29 with the second.

I was 30 when I had my first and 37 when I had my fourth. I wouldn't change a thing!
I love being the age I am and raising children. I feel I have a lot to offer them and am satisfied becuase I did the whole college/professional track thing before they were born. Being a mother is so much more rewarding for me.
I also think because we had our children late it put me in a position to be able to stay at home with my kids and raise them without being in over our heads.
Regardless of what age you have them, you do the best you can
and you find out that what you thought you knew love was is redefined as soon as you have a child. For me, there is no greater love.
