Do you have little ways to get your kids to do what you want?

I do. My four year old thinks that if he doesnt wear socks in the winter time then his feet will feeze off and a lepercaun will come steel it. (i know that sounds werid) My 9 year old daughter thinks that the reason she sleep in a drawer that was put on the floor at my grandmothers was because cribs werent invented untill she was born, and her daddy invented them for her. (She saw pictures of her one time my grandmother kept her). So now she doesnt ask me anymore about why at memas house its so different. she just thinks her daddy hasn't told her mema what hes invented for her.

Why would you even click on post if you dont have any kids or a younger sibling?

Yes I do. Hugo, who lives in the crawl space, will come get them and take them with him if these toys aren't picked up. Then I run outside or into the other room and tap ever so lightly on the walls for added effect. Cruel? Perhaps, but I'm unconventional.

I had ways, but not quite like yours. I told my son that Santa was watching him when he was acting up, but I don't think I ever used things that would scare him.

For a few weeks when he was an infant, he slept in a refrigerator box on a bear skin rug. I told him about it, and told him the truth...I had nowhere else to put him. Rather than making it sound like a negative, I turned it into a "Oh cool...I was like a wild boy" kind of thing.

I used to have little ways when they were little, but now mine are 18 and 13..but it's now more challenging to get them to do what I want! You have to stay one step ahead! That's the challenging part.
