Why on-line? My husband is a coach/teacher @ private school so I understand! I stay at home w/ 3 and 1 on the way! I look at Old Navy & Target b/c when they have a sale the prices are better than a consignment or thrift. I have bought my 6 yr old jeans and pants for $3-4. Amazing! But we also will check trhift stores.

Also, Childrens place have great sales...I have bought shoes for them for $4-5! Socks 99cents! So I would encourage you to find stores that have sales and check for clothes at some thrift stores. I try to find things that do ot look too worn.

I think that they are nationwide (not sure where you live) but the store is call Once Upon a child. try to look it up on the Internet, I live in Michigan and this store saved me. I was buying all this stuff brand new and did receive a lot from my shower but this store is awesome. It is a consignment shop not sure how you feel about that.

Congratulations! I would check Ebay for sure you can always find good deals there, then go to Old Navy, Sears,Jcpenney, check out all of the clearence sections there. Also go to thrift stores, I always find good things there, maybe you will get good stuff at your baby shower!!! Good Luck!!1

If you're strapped for cash, I'd go to the actual store so you don't have to pay all that shipping.

i don't know about online places but here a few good stores to get cheap stuff:

babies r us: especially for baby diapers...they sell in bulk and cheap
pampers sensitive diapers...they sell in bulk
clothes...when their clothes go on sale, they're really cheap

once upon a child: second-hand (but still great quality--they're very picky about what they buy from others) clothes, shoes, beds, strollers, toys, books, movies, etc.

that's where i shop a lot...they help you stretch a buck...and they have such cute stuff!!!!

My sister buys lots of new or like new name brand clothes and stuff for her kids on ebay for really good prices. That can be a great place to get good deals. If you don't mind used, you can also look on craig's list. Good Luck!
