Here's the thing. John, Paul, Ringo and George were talented, but such talent has definately been seen again and surpassed a number of times. I originally thought yes to this question, but i only really like a few wings songs. Paul's voice nevr really did it for me. Love band on the run, another day, jet, live and let die. But let's remember wings were trying something different to the traditional four peice line up of the beatles. And Paul got to write songs that were actually about something meaningful.

Had you said the Traveling Wilburys, now there was a band that dicked on the Beatles. Beatles may have had the influence, but the wilburys had the music. it is, in the end, the music that holds over influence or innovation, which the beatles undoubtedly had, and it would pay some folk to remember that.

No. The Beatles were a musical and social phenomenum. Wings was a musical group and a good one. The Beatles were John Paul George Ringo the like that will never be seen again in any of our life times or ions to come. Wings was Paul making good music. Some might like it but if you go a little deeper you see that the Beatles rose above and beyond them all and do to this day.

You'd be super hard-pressed to get a single "yes' to that. I really like Wings, but The Beatles are The BEATles. Even the individual Beatles themselves never tried topping The Beatles...

Wings songs had pzazz. I loved Silly Love Songs and Let 'Em In. Can't understand why the Beatles are so overrated; their songs are so flat and yawn causing. In my opinion, Wings win hands down and I don't care about the influence of the Beatles. By the way, I'm an ELO fan.

Yes, the Beatles were before my time. They broke up five years before I started listening to pop music in '75.
Wings songs are much more meaningful to me.

Some of the stuff they did was really good but you can't compare the two. The Beatles music changed the world.
