Mourning what? John Lennon? Is that what you're referring to? I was in Grade School, I have no attachment to a man I don't know and no, I'm not in mourning.

I had just come home from elementary school or choir practice or something and my mum and older sisters were crying in front of the TV...

I remember it like it was yesterday

John and The Beatles were huge at our house...

That night, my mum made brownies and my sisters and her drank sweet wine and listened to JL and Beatles albums and made sort of a rite of the whole thing...

My sisters and I have done the same thing every few years, we remember John in this way...

We are not in mourning but we do respect and remember

At Leicester Polytechnic student common room watching the television news. Can't believe what I saw/heard. End of an era.

I was soooo sad. If I had lived in New York City, I would have gone down to join the mourners. Instead I suffered alone.

well i was not born yet. do wish i was because that way i could have at least have had the pleasure of attending one of his concerts. he was, is, and will always be the best songwriter and artist this world has ever known. where were you? hopefully you had the chance to have lived during his reign of greatness.

Yeah, I feel robbed not being able to have seen John Lennon in concert.
He was one of the best.
