I published some songs and made an album in the 80's do I still have rights ?

Need to know if there is any public or industry record of having written and published my songs and those that were group written. Label no longer exists.

yes you do still have the rights to the music as long as you wrote it. most copyright last about 50 years at the moment Sir Paul McCartney is lobbying to extend them to a min. 95 years
