Well I would get something that old appraised. You might get screwed on Ebay.

You should start by doing a search for completed auctions and see what this book has sold for in the past. If you find that there were a lot of previous bidders for the same book, then start your pricing low, because a lot of previous bids means that people will bid again. If there were not many or if the book sold for less than you want, then start your bid at the lowest price that you'll take, just to be safe. If nothing comes up in a search for completed items, then search around places like Amazon.com or even on Google. It's ALWAYS smart to do research on your products before selling. Also, you might want to consider taking it in to a bookshop that specializes in rare and antique books. I'm sure they'd let you know about pricing and stuff. Good luck. I hope you make a lot of money on your auction!

I start everything at either $5.00 or $9.99. Things will sell for what they are worth, regardless of what your start bid is. I just sold something for almost $400 that I had a start bid of $5 on.

I researched and found thAT THIS BOOK IS VERY OLD AND WILL PROBABLY GIVE SOME BUCKS. mY SUGGESTION WOULD BE $20.00. Then you may go up or down on the price, depending on how many people come and look at it. Hope this helps!

Definitly get it aprased first. You could give more info on ebay if you had the info to give. The appraser would be able to enhance your descrition.

It doesn't really matter. Just type in a bid. .10, or/.01. Or if you have a minimum, you can do that too. I usually just type in something simple, and let them bid on it.
