Installed new ink cartridge. Was printing fine before running out of ink. Don't want to add to the pile of e-garbage. The green drum that says do not touch...the teck touched. Can that make it malfunction?

The green drum electrostatically transfers the Toner to the paper
the only thing that touching it may do is cause smears on your printouts, it should not affect the functionality of the whole device

even though it may not be suported by panasonic any more don't mean you can't get the drivers off their website all printer companies have drivers for their old printers so just go and search for the drivers you need... in the search bar type in your printer number. like this
printer drivers, # 135677 <<< your printer number
you may also get the manual and other software for that printer
