Ignorance is no excues for those that dont know its a sin.
For those that do, rember, GOD STILL LOVE YOU!
EVERYONE MESSES UP. Even me, who constently on here says people should not masturbate, I do, not nearly as much as I used to beacuse I am fighting it, but it still dose happen.
Things you can do.
Train your eyes: If your watching tv and you see something on it that you know will entise thoughts like those, change the chanel or leave the room.
Online: xxxchurch.com has software that will block those sites and notify a acountablity partner of your chosing.
Ads: if you see and ad or poster in front of Abricome or something like that, look away.
Every day stuff: A hot girl walks by and your mind screems to look. dont.
If you train your eyes and your ears to stay away form things that will only incress your sex drive and make you want to do it are themselves sins of lust.
Rember with that though, if you do acidently see something like that, lookings not the sin, thinking about it and playing and replaying it in your mind or staring at the moment, that is when it is sin.
TRAIN YOUR MIND
When your tempted to sin like that, call someone, im sure you have guy friends, find one that understands what your going thru, chanses are hes sick and tired of falling to that too, hold each other acountable. If your strugling with stuff, call them and talk to them, then after praying about it, change the subject!
GET MORE INTO THE WORD
It dose work, really. The more you have God in you the more you dont want sin in you.
Know that even when you do train your eyes and have an acoutnablity partner, you will still have problems.
Guys have a strong regular sexdrive as it is, we naturaly want to have sex every 3 day or so. Piling on all the other temptation of course would make that consiterably less.
Wet dreams arnt bad. There God given.
You may not like them but there far more good then bad. Wet dreams release all that natrual bult up sexual tension, God made it as a relese valuve, not only to release the buildup of sperm.
Prayer. IF you dont feed yorself with junk, you still get the drive, so just turn to God when if feels most unbarible, (its useualy when it feels most unbrible a day or so before a wet dream)

What i dont want to do, i end up doing, what I want to do i end up not doing. He decribed that thing as a thorn in his side, something he despised. I think that this is what he was refering to.

Even though a ritcous person may fall7 times he will stand back up again.
Its not if you fall your bad, its when you fall, get up, and keep going, God dosent look down on you for it.
Forgive yourself every time. The bible says sexual sins of lust are the ONLY sin cometed not agenst another, but agenst yourself. Know your Human and you will fall, but God loves you and he wants you to rise above the imorality around you and he will be there for you to reward you when you do.

I agree with robertt223. It is a sin and the only way you can get over an addiction is to replace it with something else. If you just try stopping and not replacing, it is much easier to enter back into your life. Replace it with prayer, reading scriptures, if there's someone you know who you trust and won't ridicule you like some of these people on here, talk to them and have them be a support.

It's not a sin. Take up a hobby where you can keep your hands busy, like putting together models and keep your mind on other more important things then masturbation.

Masturbation is not a sin ,it's a good way to release tension.
Dont' belive anyone that tell you that they never did it,if hands were made of sandpaper and penises were made of wood,the population problem would be over.
