Yes I have and did for years. Even now at 10 and 11 years old I still get that funny feeling when they eat things like cheese stixs or things they have gotten choked on in the pass. Not long ago about 2 years ago a little boy died at the local school eating a hot dog and two years before that a boy died eating a cherry tomato at a salad bar. They could get either of them unchoked. That is normal. I know many that have that fear. I just watched them when they were smaller and now I just have to let go and pray they don't get choked. That's normal. Newborns scared me getting choked on milk.....

Well, if a marshmellow ever did get stuck in heir throat hot (but not scalding) water would dissolve it fairly quickly, since they're just sugar. Of course you'd only do that if they were concious, but still, to give you some peace of mind I thougt I'd let you know.
As for worrying myself, I dont have kids, but it makes me nervous when my baby brother (who is only 7) eats hot dogs. When I'm home for the holidays and such, I won't even let him eat them! They're the exact same shape as a kids throat, and it worries me to death that he'd choke!

Aw!!! You are a good mum/mom/.
No,that doesn't scare me.I am more fearful of mine being hit by a car on the way home from school. They are now at the age where it is not 'cool' for me to walk them home. They have had rigorous road and safety training.I even walked the exact route over and over again with them,so they would take the safest possible route home.

My guys are bigger than me now. I don't get nervous about too many things, except stuff that is full of preservatives and hormones and junk like that.
