You know - the one where her attitude, body language, and words convey the fact that she's clearly right and anybody who disagrees with her is dead wrong.

I think the last six years of apparent personality transformation is just that: apparent - but not real. I don't believe personality transplants are possible for folks in their sixth decade on this earth.

Assuming the old Hillary surfaces during the '08 primaries or in the presidential campaign how do you think it will play with swing voters? Will they be put off by it / will it break down by gender / or by region? What do you think?

We've probably seen the last of Hillary's smarmy, pedantic, self-righteous persona. In other words: her real side. But since she is a shameless panderer, and is polishing up her political correctness chops as 2008 nears, you'll continue to see the smiling, gratuitous "Stepford Wife" look. Presidential politics is all about sound bites, image, and polls these days: there is NO ROOM for free thinkers and wily codgers, unfortunately. So she will take a cue from her hubby, who is one of the best pure politicians ever, and continue to try and charm and kowtow. the thing with her is that she can b.s. like her hubby but does not have a shred of his political skills. Thusly, she will be soundly thumped by John McCain in '08 if she gets that far. Her swing group will be women aged 30-50 who are against the war or are knee-jerk feminists.

Hillary Clinton is a hard working, intelligent, thoughtful Senator who has genuine feeling for her constituents. She has done her best and will continue to get proper healthcare for all age categories, fought for and is still doing so to protect our water sites, ports of entry and has visited Iraq personally. She is concerned about our environment and is fighting to get our soldiers back from Iraq before G. Bush has them all killed or crippled.

If you communicate with her and ask her a question you will get an answer which is more then you ever got with any Republican Senator.

Any person who assesses her job performance and her attitude will be campaigning so that she can be President.

That is rather frightening, isn't it?! Unless someone makes her mad enough to lash out at them, she's got it under tight control. I don't believe in personality transplants, either, but she's learned a lot in the last 6 years. God help us all, if she does succeed in getting enough votes to even make a decent run at the presidency.

She's already doing it - watch some Senate hearings (If you can bear it). She has been for some time. I understand, from people who know both of them personally, that she's worse than Bill. At least he's a nice guy - she is NOT.

As soon as she gets Bill under the covers.

she will come back to her Dyke self as soon as she gets the vote in 08 and then she will cancel the constitution for her first thing in office and then it will be too late.
