It's not the easiest thing in the world. I do have a couple of tips.

1) Don't get caught up in getting a perfect score, that is near impossible, just focus on doing you best.

2) Do get a SAT review guide. Kaplan produces a very excellent book that reviews common math problems, analogies and everything else you need. Also, the book contains lists of common or likely SAT words. You can get the book at any bookstore, such as Border's or Barnes and Noble.

SATS at 13? Really? You could take a course or they have a lot of books to help you. Or you could try taking it once, see how you do, then get the extra help. The college will look at your highest scores no matter how often you take the test. Hey good luck I took them a second time last week.

You can't possibly be talking about the college entrance exam, right? You probably mean the Student Achievement Test. This will be a test with your grade level curriculum, and I doubt it will be that hard for you. The purpose of assessment is to see how you've grown academically from year to year, so don't take it as something that will determine how smart you are.

i took it last year and the big thing is just that it seems so big and important that you get stressed out. its not that bad if youve gone up to about algebra 2 or precalc in math. and you really need to know english really well to do goo in the reading /writing aprts. the essay isnt to hard and your pretty much garaunted a good score on it if you reference a lot of famous books like the catcher in the rye, the great gadspy, oedipus rex, the adventures of huckleberry finn, etc. but i didnt mention any of those and i got a 10/12 on the essay. its not so bad. dont stress yourself out.

Just prepare as much as you can. What is difficult to one student is easy to another. So there is really no way to answer your question.

Good Luck.
