elizabeth bathory was considered quite the witch. she'd hire young girls to work in her house then they'd go missing - they found she was bathing in their blood to keep herself looking youthful, which apparently actually worked quite well. anton lavey is probably the most prominent satanic figure, and is the author of the satanic bible and other works. i'd also look up scott cuningham and silver ravenwolf, they are modern day writers on witchcraft and very commonly put their own views into their writings. have you thought about a project on the salem witch trials?? and i'd suggest for a good spook taking a look at the necronomicon and anything by Konstantinos. i don't like much of those writings but think they'll be good for such a project.
