homogeneous mixtures look the same throughout. So any mixture where you can't tell the components apart when you look at it like

salt + water
sugar + water
tea + lemon juice
milk
vinegar and water
ammonia water
bleach
tap water

Salt water (brine) is a solution. It is sodium chloride dissolved into water. It is not a homogeneous mixture. It is a heterogeneous mixture, because the solvent is liquid and the solute is solid. The two components are in different physical states.

However, Benzene and ethanoic acid are a homogeneous mixture as they are both in the same physical state (liquid)
Similarly, Water and ethanoic (Acetic) Acid (Vinegar) would also form a homogeneous mixture as again they are both in the same physical state - liquid.
