Go into some of the yahoo trivia chat rooms. It's kinda funny how some people mix up a lot of bands. A few days ago somebody thought Eve 6 was Fastball. Never had anybody think Alice In Chains was Nirvana or vice versa but ya never know.

No way in hell. Same era but totally different sound. AIC was a metal band from Seattle. I con't care what any one says AIC is metal, not the whiny I hate myself and want to die alternacrap that was Nirvana and their ilk.Jerry Cantrell could hammer out the riffs and solo like nobodys buisness. Cobain was a decent guitar player but is not fit to carry Jerry's guitar case.

Nope... I know of alot of people that mistake Pearl Jam for Nirvana.... It's amazing how some people are completely not very musically inclined... or the fact that they are tone deaf.
