okay, so i was just listening to this song by soul coughing called "4 out of 5" and when you listen to it, you realize that all mutiples of 9 end up going right back to nine. THIS IS THE ONLY NUMBER THIS WORKS WITH. for example, 4+5=9.
9+9=18
1+8=9
18+18=36
3+6=9.
AND, 9 x 2486=22374.
2+2+3+7+4=18
1+8=9
!!!
is this already proven, or am i a genius?
or am i crazy?(don't answer, please.)
so yeah, does anyone on answers right now already know this?
or have you just discovered it?

This has already been proven, and I already knew this, but I give you a lot of credit on figuring this out on your own. Not many people would be able to figure this out if they hadn't seen it somewhere else. Props to you!

Isn't that how you were taught you nine times table? To Multiply the number by nine you remove one then add it up to nine
e.g 9 x 8 = 8 -1 is 7 7 and 2 is 9 therefore 72
9x 9 = 9 -1 is 8 8 and 1 is nine therefore 81 etc

if you can add the digits of any number and the results are divisible by 3, the original number is divisible by 3, too, so you just proved part of the magic 3 number theory!
example
612
6+1+2=9
9/3=3
so you get a whole # when you divide by 3!
612/3=204
