Oh boy. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to be honest without hurting people's feelings, but I think it's okay to express yourself to your friends or give an honest opinion about an article of clothing and it's up to THEM to decide whether they are dressing for YOU or dressing for themselves, you know? In other words, be yourself, say what you think (don't be a b((#ch though) and it should make shopping a lot more fun for everyone. Friends like friends to be honest, I mean, you have to keep your g-f's looking good, right?

They get mad at you because you don't like a certain sweater, or you get mad at the sweater they picked out? It depends. First option, then they are idiots. Second, then you would be rude.

Its fine to go shopping with your friends, and if they ask you what you think, be open and just tell them, you asked what I thought and I honestly told you, If you don't like what I thought then don't ask me. tell them thats not a good reason to get mad when they asked for your opionion. or next time when you go into a store together you go your way and she goes her way , this way you will avoid that.

Not everybody has the same taste! You just simply tell them
"everybody likes different things" and if they still get mad, they have problems and are overreacting!

You could just try it on, or pretend to try it on, and say you're not going to get it because you want to save money. Personally when I go clothes shopping I like to go by myself, because people always want you to try things on.
