You can't really go by age. It's more a question of, "Are they responsible and mature enough to know how to use it safely and correctly". Use your best judgment. I recommend, even if they never go hunting, enrolling the child in a hunter safety course when they're old enough.. It will teach them a lot about firearms and safety.

Get the little tyke some real weaponry. Go for a nice .45 auto or maybe a sweet .357 stainless with a 6" barrel. Unless you're buying for a girl, then I'd go 9mm with a high capacity magazine.
And remember an unloaded gun is nothing more than a paper weight.

so that you're asking what age a mom might want to end giving her own daughter provides? i imagine it truly is rather selfish and mean-lively to no longer provide a 12 12 months previous some sort of Christmas recent. even if you're negative, you need to be in a position to maintain slightly over the 12 months to be in a position to get some thing thoughtful on your own baby. i imagine a present is suitable as a lot because the age of 18 and/or at the same time as the youngster strikes remote from abode, yet even after that, i imagine a small token present (a small foodstuff basket or the like) is a effective gesture at Christmas time. shame in this stingy mom!

Gonna have to go with the whole "never" thing.

Guns aren't toys, and they aren't for kids.
