If your looking at a point guard that has a great impact on the overall team performance, you would have to go with Steve Nash first because of the Suns overall performance.
But if your talking about a point guard who can dominate a game at this point in the season, you need not look further than Jason Kidd who is almost averaging a triple-double this season with 13.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 9.6 assists.
Hope this helps.

Depends on what kind of point guard you need or like because there's not many point guards that is an all around player. Steve Nash is more of a team player by making assists and occasionally scoring. Allen Iverson is a scoring point guard. Jason Kidd is a little of both and in my mind Tony Parker is the best because he's got the speed, the eyes and most importantly he's not selfish. Even though it pains to say that he is the best because I absolutely hate the SPURS.

It's definitely Steve Nash. He's been the best point guard for several years now. I really wish he'd stayed with the Mavericks. He and Nowitzki were a dynamic duo, I wish Mark Cuban hadn't let him go. Now, about the most underrated point guard...that would definitely be Mike Bibby, he plays with a lot of heart, and he's so down-to-earth, which is why he's my favorite point guard. I still believe in the Kings!

Jason Kidd! Need more proof? He just tied Wilt Chamberlain for third place on the all-time list with 78 career triple-doubles. On top of that he has only been playing for 12 season. Steve Nash, a great player and the only PG who comes close to J-Kidd, has been playin for 10 seasons and isn't any where near that.

Steve nash. You don't win MVPs, if you aren't. Plus look at that talent on the Suns. He raises them to a much higher level as we're not talking the '72 Lakers there or '86 Celtics.

Aaron Brooks is surely good, yet my in demand PG is taken under consideration one of the main underrated ones: Chauncey Billups. He became into the significant to Detroit's fulfillment (they began to fail as quickly as he left), and he has been working wonders for Denver ever because of the fact that he have been given there. Mr. massive Shot comes by using interior the grasp, can score any time, and makes the gamers around him greater helpful.

Deron Williams of the Jazz or Nash. But you got to look at who has the best record in the league if your are talking about right now; but if you are talking about a career then Nash

Steve Nash by a mile. Dwayne Wade is also good but Allen Iverson is too selfish to be mentioned.
