My whole family gets together on Christmas Eve...normally about 40 people or so. Everyone buys a gift...nothing over like 25.00. Just something small. We wrap them and everyone picks a #. Depending on the number you pick...that is the order that you will get to choose a gift from under the tree. The fun part is that if you get #1...that isn't good. Because if you get #1 and pick an excellent gift....then the people that go after you can either keep the gift that they pick or take yours so the weird thing is in the end...the person that goes last has the best deal. They can have any gift they want by taking it away from someone else. I think there is a name for this but I have NO idea what it is. Anyways, it is a fun thing to do and everyone has a good time. Of course just getting together for food and fun with family is the main thing but its an idea. Happy Holidays!

ever since my children were babies, we have had a picnic under the christmas tree on Christmas Eve morning. I make fresh cinamon buns and we peel clementines and have orange juice and fresh buns. They always brought their favourite stuffed toy to the picnic, and daddy joined us if he wasn't working that day.
My kids are grown now, and we no longer have the picnic on a blanket, but we do have the same breakfast sitting around the tree.
On Christmas morning, we get up and gather around the tree and read the Christmas storey from an old pop-up book we've been reading for 20 years. The kids still insist on it. Then we have a time of prayer, and then we open presents.
Big breakfast follows, and then we head out to my parent's house for the rest of the day with my family.

We take out one and all and particular ones have memories to income. Others get well-liked for a jiffy. that's my well known, being with my kinfolk, making a music songs, and adorning the tree mutually.

I like watching my grandchildren decorate the tree and helping them to wrap their hand made gifts .
We live in florida so we don't have snow , so we all sit in the
livingroom watching a Christmas move eating pop corn and having some hot chocolate .
