Yes, the physics involved in the film is called "Quantum Mechanics" and you can rent it from Blockbuster or other rental stores. You can also buy it from amazon.com.

When I first watched the film, I felt exactly the same way as you did, but that was several years go, and since then I have read more than a dozen books on this and other related subject matter. I must caution you that some of the "experts" in the film makes claims really way outside the realm of science, and makes interpretations of "Quantum Mechanics" that is simply NOT supported by any scientific evidence.

My opinions is that those interviews provided by legitimate scientists are okay, but those provided by "spiritual guides" or other self-proclaimed experts should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ummmmm. i think of I effectively challenged quantum physics. I wrote the equation for mass of a proton, calculated the effective shape consistent, chanced on the lacking everyday consistent, rewrote the diffusion equations.... besides I did a lot, yet basically with the author's help. you notice quantum physics isn't a particle in a field equation, or strictly attainable function, that's commonly a mass subject. because of the fact we on no account had the wonderful definition of mass we on no account chanced on the actuality. purely because of the fact the particle interior the field represents the archives (evidence), it would not let us know something related to the actuality because of the fact it would not hook up with different Truths. the reason of the Universe's habit while pondering it as a function of the ideal thought with the aid of God and the definition of mass, explains what we see somewhat appropriate. it relatively is all fairly uncomplicated, and transcends to a single thought. you will see? We surmise that the Universe originated from a single ingredient, it relatively is the comparable element with the actuality, it began from a single thought that exploded into many greater recommendations. it relatively is fairly beautiful the way all of it fits mutually, and QP as that's written now, would not slot in, it must be rewritten. And our minds? Our innovations is corresponding to the ideal thought -- the trademarks. think of of it commencing at a single ingredient and turning out to be the universe, and on a spec in that universe existence developed and geared up corresponding to the unique suitable thought. that's there interior us all. as quickly as we've been waiting, divinity became into breathed in. you will see quickly adequate.

According to the "Physics Today" magazine, they wouldn't recommend it because at first it talks about Quantum Mechanics, then starts combining it with fiction and mythologies. To am average person who doesn't know much about Physics and especially QM, it all sounds very believable.
I haven't seen it myself, but that is what actual Physicists thought of the documentary.
"Early on, the movie illustrates the uncertainty principle with a bouncing basketball being in several places at once. There's nothing wrong with that. It is recognized as pedagogical exaggeration. But the movie gradually moves to quantum 'insights' that lead a woman to toss away her antidepressant medication, to the quantum channeling of Ramtha, the 35,000-year-old Atlantis god, and on to even greater nonsense."-Physics Today

You'd be much better reading non-technical books written by actual Physicists if you want to know more about QM but don't want to major in Physics.
