To actually beat Jak 2, it will take you about 8 hours. I kept getting distracted by the side missions that you can do. Those can add as many hours as you want depending one how long the bonus missions take you to figure out.

on ps2 it took 2 days of 8 hours of play(im not that good but i got patience sort of,i kinda threw the controller a couple times....oops)

first time through maybe 6-9 hours depending on your luck and skill level. re-playing it when you're bored, much faster if you remember what to do.
