The Christmas when I was in 8th grade of highschool is when I received my best Santa gift - it a a TYPEWRITER. I had been dreaming of that for at least a whole year.

G'day Violet, Thank you for your question. I am the secret Santa in our office. People buy a gift of not more than $10 a head and wrap it up before putting it in Santa's sack. People go and draw the prize and I am last to draw. Despite this, I haven't done too badly. Last year, I got a small bottle of whisky that my then boss put in. I knew it was him because he likes a drop of whisky - after work of course. The worst Xmas present ever was my little brother giving my Dad a Fonzie poster. It's 30 years ago and I still give him grief about it. Seasons greetings to you and yours.

NOTHING!!! I mean it. My secret santa at my job was so lame, I didn't get a thing! We were supposed to suprise the person with a small gift a week for three weeks, then give them the larger gift the fourth week.
My secret santa flaked out and she never gave me a thing. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
Funny thing was that I had HER as my secret santa also, so I think that she felt slightly bad at the end that she had "forgotten" me.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies. My worst was some lifesavers in a small book. I see them every season in drug stores and I would love to just knock them off the shelves to the floor and stomp the crap out of them.

Best was a candle holder made of small squares of glass in different colors. When a candle was lit inside it, this was very beautiful.

I got earrings when I was 8, i didn't like them at first. But then I relized how nice they were and I grew to like them.
