Do you enjoy sitting in the dark?

I love sitting in the dark. It feels peaceful.

It does feel peaceful, but for me it feels peaceful in a restless kind of way. Darkness is filled with silence, so it gives me the opportunity to just calm myself, but at some point, it becomes painfully loud and obvious and that's when I get restless again.

But darkness is usually both a hiding place and the thing I try to hide from. I can observe things better from inside the waves of darkness without being observed. :)

Yes I do, especially when i have a really bad migraine or just feel the need to "disappear" The dark is peaceful and quiet and relaxing.

I enjoy the dark not only does it relax me but it helps me to think better and concentrate so it works both ways. If i need to come up with an answer or make a decision i sit in the dark and it helpsme to make a decision but also if i am overwhelmed and need to clear my head then i just lay in my bed in the dark and look out my window and it helpsme to relax..

i agree with you, the dark is peaceful :) but if i sit in the dark to long, i'll fall asleep and not get anything accomplished.

I love the dark, especially if you are outdoors and the stars have covered the sky...It's extra special if you see a shooting star!

I must be the only one here who's afraid of the dark. :(
