It is unlikely that Husein gave weapons to the people we are currently fighting. Once the government was toppled many of the protections on weapons that belonged to the Iraqi military went missing. This is not likely a deliberate act on Husein's part. It was really a lack of control over the existing munitions in the country. Besides many of the weapons that are being used against our troops today are probably imported. In fact, nearly all the short range missiles they use are probably imported.

The IEDs though are typically old artillery shells that were stolen from the Iraqi military, by both members of the Iraqi military, and insurgents.

Doubtful he left or gave any weapons to terrorists since there were no terrorists in Iraq prior to the war. But we do know that the U.S. gave many WMD to Saddam......thanks to Rumsfeld. Enough said?

The weapons were loaded onto passenger planes and flown to Syria. There is proof.We found some there but the liberal media played that down. The weapons were there the world knows that. Do you think you could hide something in whole country if you had to? Liberals never cease to amaze me

None; by that time Hussein's influence was waning and he didn't cut much ice with extremist religious terrorist groups. However, he did let all of Iraq's criminals out of their cells just before the war began.
