To my knowledge, the elephant is the ONLY mammal that cannot jump. Elephants are physiologically unable to jump due to their weight. I have been unable to determine whether elephants are the only mammal that cannot jump, although I have seen that statement before. Nonetheless, I would not be surprised if the hippopotamus and the rhinoceros have similar difficulties in attempting to leap over buildings in a single bound.

I'm pretty sure that the Elephant (any kind) cannot jump. But a distinction is in order: A controlled landing is typical of a downward jump, while propelling the body upwards is leaping. The elephant cannot do either. But, in this sense, it is probably the case that neither a manatees nor a walrus could either. Maybe even a platypus would be excluded. However, whales would not be since propelling upwards and out of the water is typical, though they cannot exercise a controlled landing (I don't think).

Porpise,Whale they can proppel the body mass out of the water, but that is not Jumping.
Elephant,Rhino, the knees just aint got it.
Snakes can fly or fall, some can even appear to jump, so some snakes cannot, and some can.
Broaden your teachers mind, there is no one absolute certainty in anything, Change happens. Or maybe it doesnt, it depends on the observer.

While it might seem that whales and other marine animals can't jump, they can breach - they can "jump" out of the water. But there are many mammals that cannot jump. These include elephants, sloths, hippopotami and probably sea cows and various burrowing rodents. Also, most bats do not jump.
