No, they're technically human and are, therefore, mortal.

I noticed that ever story is different. Most live ageless I guess that's a better word the immortal.Because they don't die from old age or at least never heard of them dying that way. Though they can killed by silver bullets...and if your truly immortal you can't die at all. In most mythology or legends most things clam to be immortal but for some reason they can be killed...werewolf's, vampires, the highlander and even in Norse mythology the God's die..So ageless yes ..immortal no. I think the only thing truly immortal is DEATH...

If you think about it werewolves are just people with a "problem". So in my opinion they wouldn't be, but apparently when they are in werewolf form they can only be killed with a silver bullet.
But if you really consider the matter, that's like murder, because werewolves are people too (literally!):)
But since werewolve are fictional creations, they're what ever you want them to be.

According to which story you read, a werewolf is either a member of a "family" whose children carry the lycanthrope gene, or he is a normal human who, once bitten by another werewolf, becomes one himself by the process of disease transmission. In either case he is still mortal and subject to normal aging and death. In human form he is as mortal as you or I, but he does enjoy a supernaturally tough constitution and fast healing rate in both human and wolf form that allows him to recover from anything short of a mortal wound. Silver is the bane of werewolves because of its mystical connection with the moon - any damage caused by silver heals at an incredibly slow rate and wounds caused by silver tend not to close on their own, therefore any wound could become a mortal one simply from blood loss. Note that a silver bullet is only the easiest and safest way to kill a werewolf - silver can damage in any form i.e. a silver plated dagger or sword, a silver dart, a silver cane, even ground silver powder introduced like poison into a werewolf's food or a syringe filled with silver nitrate injected into a werewolf could all cause potentially lethal damage.

Sorry, but no. Weres are NOT immortal. They age and die like the rest. There are some "immortal" creatures, but lycans are NOT one of them!

No, but they heal intensely unless wounded by silver, and the wounds and decrepitudes of age they heal from as intensely as from any other wound. So they age incredibly slowly, but as time passes and their pack-mates die, and the things that provide them mental anchors fade away, they tend to go mad and find a way to die.

In some stories yes, some not. Just depends on your source reference. I don;t think they would be personally, but I have never met one either.
