working in nyc?

hi.i,m looking to move to nyc..and am looking for ajob as a beauty consultant or in retail sales..i am from the uk.....can any body give me alead of where to start.as i ahavn,t a clue thanks

There are always jobs for retails sales persons: Lord & Taylor, Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdales and they all have make-up/beauty consultants.

When you are ready to look for a job in NYC look up the address of the above stores online or in the telephone directory. Go to the stores and ask what the procedure is to get a job as a consultant.
