A situation that has been going on in your family will end and a new one will emerge. This can be positive event or negative, but it will be a change from the old one. Only you know what has been going on and later you will see what will change.

My TarotVision tarot card meaning of: XIII – Death
Transformation is welcomed with courage and excitement by the enlightened, but feared with trepidation by those in the dark. Just when a caterpillar thinks the world is over, it becomes a butterfly.
You can use this four minute video as a brief meditation on the tarot that, repeatedly viewed, will help you learn how to read tarot cards psychically. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/tarotvision.html

If it means anything at all I would go with change. Take a serious look at your life and see what areas could use a shot or so of change and then go for it. Perhaps there are even changes you *know* you should make but for what ever reason you keep blowing them off. Just because you know a change would be for the better or at least suspect it would be doesn't automatically mean you're going to do anything about it. Way too often we prefer to stay where we're at because it's a *known* situation rather than going for a change that may or may not work out the way we want it to. Some times we hesitate to make needed changes *not* because we are afraid we will fail but rather that we will succeed.:) Few things can be quite so unnerving as challenging the status quo.;)

For use as a divinatory device, the Tarot deck is dealt out in various patterns and interpreted by a gifted “reader.” The fact that the deck is not dealt out into the same pattern fifteen minutes later is rationalized by the occultists by claiming that in that short span of time, a person's fortune can change, too. That would seem to call for rather frequent readings if the system is to be of any use whatsoever.

It means : transformation changes which is blessing in disguise. A clearing out which will way for something better. Harsh fate which does not consider personal feelings. Very, very occasionally does the card signify death; more usually it means major change in life.
Where else the reversal meaning ; an enforce change, a removal of something that should have been given up. Those of a friendship.

The Death Card is relative to the other cards around it. It can mean the conclusion of a situation(like a resolution to an argument) Death doesn't mean somebody's going to die, it means the end cycle of an event or chain of events

The death card does not usually mean someone actually dying. It's usually interpreted as an indicator of sudden large charges.
