i shared my printer from the computer that is hooked up to my router now on my laptop how do i find the sharing laptop?

you must be in the same network firstly to find easily. than you must fix your local network settings, as permissing to share files and printers. then let the windows' firewall to share on entire local network.
when these are finished, search your printer again.
Don't forget to share your printer with a short name; example; hp1018, lx4256, etc.
