1) with one ball. Practice throwing it from hand to hand with nice high throws that peak at a little above the top of your head

once you have that down
2) get two balls. hold one in each hand. Throw the ball in your right hand (just like you practiced in step one). When it is in the air, throw the ball in your left hand (just like you practiced). FOCUS on catching the ball you threw with your right hand with your left hand (don't worry about the ball you threw with your left hand... just let it go wherever it does).
Once you can reliably catch the first ball you throw...

3) Use the same set up as you did in step two, but now catch each ball you throw. so:
Throw ball in right hand
Throw ball in left hand
catch the first ball you threw in your left hand
catch the second ball you threw in your right hand

THIS IS THE STEP YOU WANT TO PRACTICE A LOT ON --once you get this right you will be all set

4) two balls in your right hand, one in your left...
If you were solid on step 3, you should have no problem..
Throw a ball in right hand
Throw the ball in left hand
catch the first ball you threw in your left hand
catch the second ball you threw in your right hand

note that one of the balls in your right hand never got thown.. it was just there to get you used to it

5) two balls in your right hand, one in your left...
Throw a ball in right hand
Throw the ball in left hand
catch the first ball you threw in your left hand
throw the ball in your right hand
catch the second ball you threw in your right hand...
repeat...
You are juggling!

Well, I could type the instructions like someone else did, but that's still going to be really confusing. Find a copy of Juggling for the Complete Klutz, published by Klutz press. The instructions are simple and easy to follow, there's lots of pictures, and it even comes with a set of juggling bags. I learned from this book, and I'm halfway decent, if out of pratice.

Well all my stuff was erased, lost in CYBERSPACE, that all took a long time to type, but it is probably best that it is gone anyway.
Type in your search, how to juggle, or instructions for juggling.
I saw a site called THE JIM SHOW.
And it looks like a wonderful site for you to explore, full detailed directions.
Have fun.
DJ.
