Pitching great Don Drysdale could throw the ball in such a way that it actually stopped in mid-flight, reversed direction, and returned to his glove. Since it would have been an illegal pitch, it was never used during a game but he doubtless demonstrated it in the ballpark many times ofver the years. What's the name for this sort of pitch?
