if ur talking about a cold sore or something, then u can also use HONEY... it works really well and it kills bacteria. people used to put it on wounds in the old days to protect from germs and stuff!
if ur talking about a new brand of lip balm called "lip explosion" i've never heard of it, but yes most lip balms are important to moisturize lips

Lip Pulse/Stung/Lip Stung!!! It makes lips look beautifuly rosy red and moisturised (seriously, it makes lip smooth & soft, well moisturized). It will also plump your lips within 9 seconds.
The company made 3 type of similar lip serum just like this (Lip Pulse, Lip Stinger & Stung). It's the same company. Stung and Lip Pulse are their classic lip plumpers. The both contain the same ingredients but in slightly different amounts –you will have the same amazing results with either! Lip Stinger is the newest addition in their line of lip plumpers. It contains all the plumping benefits of Stung and Lip Pulse but they have also added anti aging (to get rid of those fine lines and wrinkles on the lips) and moisturizing (good bye Chapstick) ingredients.
For me I prefer Lip Stinger. Read all aout it here..

Yeah. It helps with dry/chapped lips, so it's like chapstick with flavor. I LOVE the Dr. Pepper flavored ones! They're the best!
