Perhaps you could buy a magazine for your age bracket and show your parents some nice young fashions.
Beauty also lies within. Don't forget that. No child is ever ugly.
Ugly is such a distasteful word.
I don't wear makeup and have lovely complexion and have had compliments on my skin and people are shocked at my age.
I wish you well. Growing up can be awkward at times, we've all been there and you will shine. Make your parents proud of you in all you do. Good luck.

OK so i think you should talk to your parents about how you feel tell them its hurting your self esteem I understand where your coming from i used to have big bushy eyebrows and i used to have to be sneaky and put on eyeliner on the bus going to school then take it off on the bus going back to school bc my father HATED the fact that i wore it but i think you should sit down and have a chat with them good luck! and im sure that your not ugly just bc u have a unibrow i know a girl that has one and shes absolutely gorgeous its all about what in the inside bc waxing and make up dont mean a thing if you dont have the personality to go wit ur looks

aw dont say that. talk to ur parents about how u want to get rid of ur unibrow becuase it hurts u to stand out. next time u go shopping show ur mom that atractive clothes can be modest and sophisticated. try to find clothes that look nice and fit well, like black pants, or jeans and pair it with a button up shirt or something. u can look realy cute without having to folow fads or be imodest at all.

Just be yourself.
Be happy they won't let you wear a half-sweat shirt.....you'll curse youself later if you did wear one....they're so stupid....
As for the unibrow.....if it's really hairy, then I suggest taking care of it anyways.

Just shave the middle. It will still grow back - but it won't change the density of your hair or anything (that is a myth). Tell your parents to suck it up.

Sit your parents down, and explain how you feel. Also, if they don't give in tell them you are not comfortable with how you look. If they don't listen, then just do what you want. The worst that can happen is them ground you. Good Luck, Hun!

You have not told us how old you are and what is your religion.
If you are too young, your parents have a say as to what you'll wear; if you belong to Islam, then Islam has a say as to what you'll wear for the rest of your Muslim life.
