Russell Crowe hands down! He was great in Gladiator and even Cinderella Man (the movie was underappreciated). Brad Pitt is just a pretty boy who can't act! Crowe is more cool-even though he needs to control his temper!

I think that Brad Pitt is a good actor especially in such films like Seven and Snatch and Crowe was good in Gladiator and the Whistle Blower, both I think do a lot of method acting but in the long run I would have to say Pitt.
Desperately trying to find more reasons but both have qualities.

Russel Crowe he plays more difficult roles in his films hes great in all especial Cinderella man and beautiful mind but i liked brad Pitt in the Mexican but i hated snatch what a boring film that was

Russel Crowe . I find brad very cute but when it comes to acting Russel takes home the award. he was great in Cinderella man.

Tough one man I think Pitt was brilliant in snatch but Crowe is a better actor he once took a role in an Austrailian film playing a gay rugby player if you can pull that off you are probably able to do anything.

Both are attracive and can act well.
From my opinion Russel Crowe
Great actor
Gladiator-hands down was a touching movie.He actuallymade me believe for a sceond that he was dead and saw his family, Then I snapped out of it thinking 'does he make something more than what it is?'
Did u know that he used to be a singer Ilaughed my lungs out coz he was a bit bad!

Russel Crowe i just luv him in "Gladiator" and "Th Beautiful MInd...he is awesome.
