Download Ccleaner and use it regularly. It's free, and does a nice job.

Click the Start button, go to Control Panel, click Network and Internet Options, on the 'General' tab, click in the middle where it says Temporary Internet Files, and click BOTH 'Deleted Files' and 'Delete Cookies'. After you do these, go below to the History, and click 'Clear History'.

Right-click on your internet icon and click "clear history", but this erases history of all the sites you've visited.

click on "tools" in the toolbar, then click on "browsing history". If your computer doesn't have this, you should be able to click on tools, then internet options..In the General tab, toward the middle of the page, it shows where you can delete browsing history. Next to that, just click the "delete" button.
