you know, the kind that come with a salary that I will be able to pay ALL of my bills AND AFFORD FOOD. Any suggestions?
I have a bachelor's degree (Art) and 20 years of Customer Service experience.
I know that there are jobs out there....now that I have finally decided that I have to take care of MYSELF, I guess it is time to ask for help

Are you computer literate? I've been a graphic designer for 30 years and always had a decent ride, place and food, and enough extra that I had to pay support to my first husband for several years. With an art degree, a little practice with photoshop or Adobe CS2 if you can get hold of it and you should do well.

What do you like to do more than anything else in the world? (Eliminate sex and sleep. Anything else is fair game.)
That's a serious question - take some time figuring it out.
Once you know that answer, then - how do you make it pay?
Off the top of my head, given the two assets you've listed, I'd look in the entertainkment and leisure industry - hospitality on a cruise line, customer service for a hotel chain, tour guide - something that takes advantage of your art background and your service experience.
But if you find something you love to do, you'll be good at it. And if you're good at it, people will pay you.
Good luck

Why not check out some on-line job sites? How about moving? Pick a place you'd like to live then see what jobs are available there. You never know, this could be the start of a new era for you. Good luck.

Maybe you could get into the casino industry----There's lots of different jobs in this industry besides being a blackjack dealer. There are marketing departments which need people w/ creativity---you said you have an art degree.

I suggest you consider speaking to a career counselor at a college of your choice. They are very helpful and their services are free. You may want to consider a graduate degree using your talents and skills toward a new career. Adult education has many exciting fields these days, as does art.
Best wishes.

Maybe you could apply for a customer service position at ArtRUs? Or perhaps get a job painting the cubicles of Cust Svc reps in India?
Either would work toward putting your experience and education together. ;)
