You have to take a look at the HTML code, try using Dreamweaver or Frontpage. If their is some "weird" format, then that is most liikely the cause.

IE is nine years behind web standards while Firefox is a modern browser. FrontPage is also known, among us web developers, as the worst of the programs for creating pages. Chances are good that your page does not have a doctype at the head. This puts IE into 'quirks mode' making IE not work like any other browser.

Google for quirks mode and doctype to start on solving your problems and remember to always use a modern browser such as Firefox to test your initial design so you know your code is correct. IE, both 6 and 7, is the worst browser on the planet.

Regardless of the shortcomings of Front Page and IE, IE is still the most used browser in the world. Microsoft has a large marketing engine. At any rate, I agree with the above comments. Migrate your development from Front Page (somewhat proprietary) to something that adheres to standards. There are plenty of WYSIWYG web editors out there.

Personally, I'd develop for Firefox and then tweak the site if it looks weird in IE. I heard Microsoft is *FINALLY* starting to allow CSS in IE7...

Frontpage is a Microsoft product and so is Internet Explorer. Truthfully, don't use a proprietary product to develop web pages. Use a text editor and put some code in to test for the specific browser the person is using.

Firefox and Internet Explorer are designed to different specifications. Similarly with Opera, Safari, Konqueror and other web browsers.
