So many people say that when you have an abortion the fetus isn't a baby. My question is if it isn't a baby then why are they now saying that you can take pain medication so the baby doesn't feel the killing of themselves. I don't understand how people can say there is nothing wrong with murder. I laugh whenever people say that they are against murderers and then they go and have an abortion. If you have an abortion you are just as bad as Charles Manson and his crew. There is NO excuse for abortion.

If you are raped and can't have the baby then give it up for adoption. You don't have to punish the baby inside of you. It isn't the child's fault.

Ok, yes people, she didn't really ask a question. In one sense. I quote from Punky's statement, "My questions is if it isn't a baby then why are they now saying that you can take pain medicaation so there baby doesn't feel the killing of themselves."
Look at that one. So reread people. She asked the question and then told her side of the arguement. Everyone has their own side of the arguement, trust me my english professor has pounded that into my head when creating thesis statements.
But I must agree with you. It's a woman's choice but I think it's completely immoral. If you are pregnant, it may be because of rape, your own stupid doings or a condom break, something along those lines. But if it happened, don't you ever think that it was God's will for it to have happened. There was another comment on about if the mother's life is at risk... God's choice. If that is how God wanted you to go, then that's it. But doctors can say that if you don't abort the baby then your life can be at risk. This can also be wrong. Doctor's are not always right. I know someone that was told by her doctor to abort her baby because the baby was to have all kinds of problems. However, the mother was against abortion. Her views: if my baby has problems, it will still be loved. If my baby has problems, God wanted it to be. He wanted me to have a baby with problems. A baby that I would have to give extra attention to. This may turn out to be a true experience. However when she had her baby,. there was nothing wrong.
There are many sides to the debate on abortion. Everyone has their own view. As a matter or fact, me and my roommate were talking about this very topic earlier tonight. I'm against it 150%. I think it is murder, I think it is morally wrong, and I think that if you're pregnant, it's meant to be. If I were to get pregnant now at 19, I don't know if I would want a baby. I have the option to give it up for adoption. Then someone that can't have a baby has the opportunity to raise one. But if I have an abortion I risk the many complications.
There are many medical risks with abortions. As i said earlier someone commented on the mother's life being at risk, if she has an abortion she's at risk too. It is actually proven that a woman is at a greater risk of death from an abortion than child birth. She is also at risk of never being able to have another child.

Take a moment before you answer, and don't think oh my god my friend is having an abortion she's stupid. Think of if it was you. What would you do, what would you think if it was you!

It's not so much that it's not human or it's not going to become a baby, it's that it's not the moral or cultural equavalent of a baby. This is why you don't have funerals for miscarriages, people will sometimes name theirn next child the same name that they were intending to name their misscarriage, and even pro-lifers don't call the police to report miscarriages. Nobody, even pro lifers uses the date of conception to calculate someone's age either. There is a definate difference in the way it is percieved morally by all aspects of our society.

The other big thing is that people don't want to get the government and law enforcement involved in policing it. They feel it is too intrusive for the government to judge a woman's reasons for aborting a fetus. They feel that the woman's right to autonomy over her body outweighs the benefit to socitety of punishing women who terminate their pregnancies.

Also adoption is an ordeal, not a simple little thing, and it has huge ramifications and serious legal, ethical, and spiritual consequences. It is not the magic bullet that most pro-life people insist that it is. Consequence-free adoption is not the answer to the abortion problem, universal access to contraception is.

Abortion is murder.
For all those that believe in Heaven...
When we go to Heaven our body doesn't go, just our soul. Therefore, at conception their is a soul! A person not completely in the flesh but God's creation.
I do also know that abortion can cause severe emotional pain on both the mother and the father.
I speak from experience... I was misinformed when I had an abortion. I was lead to believe that it was not murder when in fact it was.
9 years later I still think about my baby everyday.

I also want to add that I am NOT like Charles Manson because I had an abortion. Society misinforms people and I didn't know that truth. I would give anything to take it back and have my baby.

You really shouldn't be judging people as harshly as you are. God does forgive and people can repent.

So what are you doing to help all the unwanted, unloved children in the world, some are living terrible lives, Charles Manson, wish his mother had aborted him. I hope you are never impregnated, by a rapist, but don't judge the poor women that has, and has to make a difficult decision, would you really want to go Thur a pregnancy under those conditions? Can you imagine explaining to family & friends, that you are pregnant against your will, but having it, to put up for adoption, could you love a child, whose father is a rapist? That is too much to ask of anyone.

I don't understand why abortion is such an issue. I personally would never have one but I do believe that people can do whatever they want. It's not going to hurt me any. Why should I get so worked up over what someone else does? Worry about yourself. You especially don't need to hold signs outside clinics. Go get a healthy hobby like knitting or something.

A woman deserves the right to choose whether or not an abortion is necessary for her. The way I see it: it would be easier for someone to give up a baby when they havn't seen it rather than giving birth to the kid, becoming emotionally attached to it, and then having to give it up! Besides, there are so many babies in this world......who needs more!!!!

I don't really see the question. You seem to have made up your mind that a baby is a baby from conception not birth. I agree I think abortion is murder and that a fetus is a baby. I don't understand how people can think like that.

I think there should not be the Question wheather to have an abortion or not. And besided it should be called Murder not abortion.
Its just as lame as some people give gifts at Christmas, and say This is to our 3 years 4 months and 22 day anivirsay just because they don't believe in celabrating Christmas, because it is the Birth of Christ. (Jesus)
And if you have that problem with being raped, then there are allwasy the morning after pills!!! Wich I think only kill the sperm, not the living child.

Find a new forum for propaganda...I dont like the idea of abortion one bit...so you know what I do....dont do stupid things that would make it "necessary" to get one...If you dont like it dont get them, but the issue of it being right or wrong will never be solved...on its face it is wrong, but its wrong to expect a woman who got raped to have a rapists baby as well...its just a big circle...
