OMG, thank you, thank you thank you!!! I have three kids and have been waiting for this moment forEVER!!! Let's see, I'm going to shower, wait, no. I'm going to take a long, hot BATH!!! All by myself! Then I'll read a book that doesn't have ANY pictures in it!!! And I'll sleep...no interruptions, no shushing anyone, no bickering to wake me! And I'm going to cook all the things that I just love without anyone whining "Eww, that looks yucky! Do I have to eat the mushrooms?" Yeah, then maybe a nap after dinner and another hot bath. I'll even shave my legs! I'm starting to feel like a real person just thinking about it...thanks!

I would have no problem finding things to do but since you asked you might be quite young. I would start with one room in the house and I would go thr everything. I would get rid of things that I haven't used in a longtime and either set it aside to go to a chariety or give away to the needy. In the kitchen I would do the same and go thr the whole house. In the evenings I would get out a book, my knitting needles or sew on a quilt. Now if this sound too old fashioned to you. Start a journal of all the things you want to do in your life, and what you want to achieve. When was the last time you sat down and wrote a letter to your aunt, grandmother, or someone you are grateful for. You know that pile of junk in your room go thr it. Ever cleaned a bathroom try that. Surprise your family and do all the laundry. I am never bored and really can't imagine why someone else can't use some imagination. Wish you well. P.S. I like to sing so I think I would make a list of all the songs that I know and sit and sing them all. lol

Sleep, read, eat, mop the floors, wash the curtains, dust the sofas, service the car, learn fixing a flat tire, put the car up on the jack, remove a tire, change the sets, see the stars at night, try your hand at cooking, sing a song, sleep some more, water the plants, try origami, learn to dance, imagine that you're on an island - well now you ARE on an island - so enjoy!

Well, there's books, solitare, journaling, etc. I think the problem requires a little bit of preparation. You could have purchased a jigsaw puzzle, a good book, or some other diversion beforehand. I personally have one player video games that do not require the Internet. What do you like to do?

I think I would read, there are a lot of books I've bought but haven't had time to read them. Also, I would clean everything like crazy just to give my house a good scrubbing and do laundry, organize my cabinets rearrange my rooms. Clean out my refigerator because I know there is a bacterial beast living in there.

I never get to to this b/c I am always on the go: I would take a bath, do my nails, re-organize my closet and shoes, clean the house spotless, maybe read and I would probably cook a lot... Oh yeah, I would also do my my homework for this week and the next.

Read a good book, play with my cats, enjoy being home, write letters, poetry. Play music, take a long bubble bath, bake.
There are plenty of things to do.

By beloved one and I have never parted for so long. When I'm alone for a few hours I usually read, paint, play the guitar and sing beautifully.
