they can't call the home if you do not give them the number or your name.
But please make sure you have a place to stay. Ugly things happen to kids who sleep on the streets.

seems like you have given this allot of thought.
I know many times I wanted to run away, the only thing is that you take all of your problems with you. You really can't think clearly now. I wished you had someone that would listen to you and provide a safe place for you to feel and chill for a while.
If you are being abused, go to the covenant house. However know that whatever you run from now, will be there and you will have to face it later. Ask your personal sense of strength, be it God or whomever to guide you and I will also pray that whatever darkness you need to get through passes quickly and peacefully.
the weird feeling and confusion are your fear and doubt in your own ability to want a better environment. Change in life is always
spelled COURAGE.

I hope that you have a real good reason for running away. Ask your self these question.
Do I have a real good reason? If you are being mistreated (abuse), then I think that it is a good idea. I don't want nobody to mistreat you. I was abuse as a child and I ran away, but I ended up right back at home with the person who was abusing me. If that is you, you don't have to take it. I am glad that you are going some where safe like the covenant house. Be careful. Let someone know that you are okay.Good luck.

Sarah, stop. Before you go, call Covenanthouse and talk to a counselor. They should be able to direct you to a shelter in your area. I don't know what the major problems are, but kids who run away from home run the risk of becoming victims where they run to. Please call a runaway hotline, you can find the nearest one in the yellow pages of your phone book. Good luck to you and please, please let me know how you are, whatever your decision is. My niece is named Sarah and I know I would take her in here in a heartbeat if she couldn't make it at home. Is there someone in your family who would do that for you? If not, a runaway shelter in your area will give you a safe place to stay and help you work on the problems you are having so you don't feel so desperate. Please e-mail me and let me know how you are. I am worried.

Allow yourself to cool down a little. Give your problems some scrutiny and you may be able to free yourself of some of the problems. Confide with someone close to you - that might help to some extend.

Don't run away from your problems. They'll only get worse. Try solving your problems. It works much better.
