Hi,

I have been researching all over the internet to find the best jobs with the best pay in the first year. Where is the best place for me to start working? I want to make at least $125,000 the first year alone and become CEO to make millions of dollars as bonuses.

My college major is: Professional Management (Online School)

My college GPA will be: above 3.50

Since my major is in business, where should I start looking for work once I graduate? Which city? Which cities should I work in to get the most pay? I want to make more than $125,000 based on my college degree alone.

I don't mind lots of responsibilities, but I want to get paid at least this much. I don't mind traveling, but I want a job that pays this much. I have no prior job experience. I have never worked before.

I am just looking for the best places to start working once I graduate with a Business Management degree. Any recommendations? Remember: I want the best pay possible.

With a BA and no work experience, $125k is a pretty lofty goal for your first year of post-undergraduate work. Keep in mind that the average salary for graduates of top 10 Masters in Business Administration (MBA) institutions is below $125k. Having said that, the only way that I see you potentially making that amount is in sales. Salespeople are compensated on commission and usually have no limit to what they can make. However, they don't really have much base salary either (most high-value products have no base salary at all). These products include: complex technology solutions, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. These jobs typically have some strict requirements on education and/or sales experience but that doesn't mean that they won't consider you. The only other business option that a guy in your position could hit the $125k salary target would be the sale of contraband which could also land you in jail (remember: risk and reward travel together...)

I must agree with Mark. Expecting over $100K just out of college is entirely unreasonable...And I live in California, where that's not an unheard-of salary (of course, we also have the cost of living to go with it, so it's not all that great!).

Even if you spent another 10 years in school, bringing home a 4.5 gpa, you wouldn't get that much money in your first year.

Additionally, if you really want to be a CEO, you may need to start your own company. Try to remember that each company only has one CEO, and they're not likely to get rid of the one they have, just because you want his job...He probably worked for 20 years to get there, and you should have a similar expectation.

Depending on what part of the country you're in, you can expect to earn $30 - $50 K in your first year out of school. You'll probably start as a manager, or, if you're really lucky, you might find a position as a director. Before you can become CEO anywhere, you'll need to show that you are a good leader, and good at managing people...These are skills that are not taught in college, and employers know that experience is the only way for you to get good at them.

Well, let me tell you something, you are not looking at the whole picture! You are asking for way to much, if you dont have any experience!. Better start looking to work overseas, there are plenty of companies who need skilled people, but wont pay what you want on the first year. My suggestion, start lower, get experience, and then go for the big bucks!!! Remember, you are not the only one around wanting to be a millionaire!!! Good luck!

If I were you I would change my major. There are plenty of other majors that have great pay and more job availability than business like engineering or lawyers. The United States needs another person majoring in business as much as I need AIDs

Try University of Southern California. They pay well and have good resources to find good paying jobs.

I'm afraid to tell your expectations are way too high. Better reset them quite a bit lower.
