Hokaiddo and the Northern part of the Honshu are in the N. American Techtonic Plate. Southern half of Honshu and the Island of Kyushu are in the Eurasian Plate.
I live in Fukuoka on Kyushu for a year, long ago--but not until now did I learn what Plate I was on! ")

well all i can say is all of the above because Japan has one of the world's powerful earthquakes as the country lies at the crossing of four tectonic plates the Eurasian, North American, Philippine and Pacific plates.
be more specific because tokyo has interactions of the Philippine, Pacific, and Eurasian plates.

... It depends on which part of Japan your looking at... the northern part is in D the southern part is in C and it borders on B the only thing i can tell you is that it is defiantly not A.
